One to One Personal Training

No client is the same, and this applies to the Personal Training sessions. Working to improve aerobic and anaerobic health, strength, flexibility and posture as some of the areas of which exercise will focus. Your progress will be assessed and your program progressed when appropriate to ensure no training plateaus.

During any exercise, safety is paramount. Emphasis on proper form and technique will be present for all types of exercise.

So if you would like to improve muscle tone, optimise your strength or simply increase mobility and gain a sense of life-balance and wellbeing, MADE Fitness can help you achieve your goals, and have fun while you do it!

Health Assessment

The first personal training session will involve carrying out a comprehensive health and fitness assessment. The results will form the basis of the progressive exercise programme. Depending on results, addition to body fat reduction, endurance, strength training, core stability, corrective exercise or flexibility may be required.

The assessment will include:
  • Resting heart rate
  • Resting blood pressure
  • Body composition analysis
  • Postural assessment
  • Core function & stability
  • Flexible Assessment
  • Lifestyle evaluation

Other tests will be performed if deemed necessary.

The results of the assessment will be clearly explained so that you understand the results in relation to recommended guidelines.

What You Can Expect

Every session will incorporate core strengthening. Many of us associate core strength with a flat belly or six-pack abs. However, there are so many more benefits that come from improving core strength, including improved posture, spinal alignment, increased stability and reduced back pain.

Focus towards end of session is on developmental stretching, where appropriate. Developmental stretching will focus on increasing the muscle length or muscle flexibility.
